Our self catering, dog friendly cottages at Furzewood Farm in Amroth, Pembrokeshire, South West Wales, sit high above the bay with spectacular views over the sea to the Gower and Caldey Island.
The local unspoiled sandy beach just 5 minutes walk, offers safe play, swimming and rock pools galore. At low tide it is possible to walk along the beach to Wiseman’s Bridge and Saundersfoot.
The 178 mile Pembrokeshire coast path starts (or ends!) in Amroth. There are three pubs , a restaurant , café and a grocery/gift shop along the sea front.
Next to Amroth Cottages is the wooded valley of Colby House and Gardens (National Trust) with lots of good walking for dogs and owners and a fabulous wild play area for children where they can swing on a rope, make a den or build a campfire..
The 9 acres of grounds around the cottages are very child safe and there are plenty of grassy areas for play and lots of wildlife in the fields. We have sheep, goats, chickens, ducks and cats who will all give you a friendly welcome and we also have a wonderful rescue dog, Asti, who loves everyone.
The cottages are open all year and can be booked for short breaks or weekends during the winter months. AVAILABILITY is posted on each cottage page and for more information click here about us.
